THE FISHING- Two Distinct Fishing Experiences
BLUEWATER FISHING– Tuna, Kingfish & Pelagic Species
When conditions allow, head into deeper bluewater to pursue albacore tuna, southern bluefin tuna and kingfish, along with other offshore species.
DEEP-DROP & STRUCTURE FISHING– Hāpuka, Bluenose, Blue Cod & More
Work deeper structure and drop-offs for bass/hāpuka, bluenose, blue cod, trumpeter, terakihi, kahawai, butterfish and other deepwater species.
LOBSTER FISHING– Drop Pots or Dive for Fiordland Lobster
Guests can bait and drop lobster pots, retrieve and process the catch, or, when conditions permit, dive for abundant lobster. Your private chef can incorporate the day’s catch into an authentic ocean-to-table dining experience.

The living colonies of Fiordland’s black coral are actually white, despite their name. Remarkably, this normally deep-water species grows in Fiordland at depths of just 15–50 meters.
THE FIORDLAND EXPERIENCE
Wildlife encounters can include dolphins, whales, fur seals, Fiordland crested penguins, albatross and other seabirds, along with native New Zealand birds.
And because the vessel is private, there is no rigid itinerary. One day might mean chasing kingfish in the morning, diving in the afternoon, pulling lobster pots and enjoying fresh fish prepared by your chef that evening. The next might be spent exploring a remote fiord, hiking to a waterfall or searching for wildlife.
