BUTCH MANASSE

Butch Manasse was a practicing attorney for 27 years before founding this consulting business. He holds a Juris Doctorate and was a member of the Board of Editors for the Connecticut Law Review and a Distinguished Military Graduate. He was the senior partner in his law firm before retiring.

Over the last 55 years, he has hunted virtually all the continents and has done many hundreds of hunts. He also is a Nebraska hunting outfitter for deer and turkey. He and his wife Joan have an extensive game room.

Butch is an addictive reader, devouring 200 or more Outdoor magazines each year, plus numerous books and treatises. He stays well informed on all facets and news in the hunting community, including dealing with the CITES rules and the vagaries of international hunting. He also has written several articles, the most recent of which detailed his hunt in Mozambique and was published in the Australian & International Trophy Hunter Magazine in the September 2011 issue.

He is a firm believer in personal integrity and honesty, and often is heard quoting his Dad’s favorite saying: “ A man’s word is his bond”. He and Joan have both a son and a daughter, and five grandchildren, all of whom love the outdoors. “Grandpa Butch” is devoted to his grandkids and takes great pride in keeping them involved with hunting and fishing. His son Ed purchased the company in 2014 and now serves as President and General Manager.
