Alex grew up in the Northeast with a fishing pole in his hand. At the age of ten he was introduced to the Fly-Fishing world and never looked back. Moving to the Rocky Mountains at the age of 18 and becoming part of the Fly-Fishing workforce community as a guide and shop manager was just the beginning. Over the next 30 years Alex moved around the country guiding and managing Fly Shops while continuing to grow his knowledge of the world’s fisheries.
The journey took him from Colorado to The Olympic Peninsula, Alaska, South West Florida and finally landed him in The Redfish Capital of the World, Louisiana. Louisiana is where Alex’s wife grew up and this is where they are raising their two boys together. Alex now spends most of his local recreational fishing time poling his family around the flats in search of the treasures of the Northern Gulf of Mexico and the amazing sight fishing opportunities that exist there.
Throughout all this time Alex has been cultivating relationships with lodges, outfitters and guides worldwide while hosting groups and connecting his clients to the best opportunities for their Fly-Fishing Travel. Alex is excited to be part of the Fish Nation team and introduce great people to great operations that can help to solidify the trip of a lifetime.
