Tucked away in Northern Patagonia’s rugged Cordillera del Viento, this lodge feels like a place time forgot. This century-old family ranch pairs authentic Patagonian character with the comfort and warmth of a small, thoughtfully run fishing lodge. Spread across more than 15,000 acres of wild country, the estancia opens the door to three private rivers, spring creeks, and nearby freestone streams that see little pressure and remain beautifully untouched.
In these clear, cold waters, wild rainbow, brown, and brook trout thrive, offering anglers a rewarding mix of technical dry-fly fishing, precise nymphing, and streamer opportunities. Evenings return guests to an intimate lodge setting where genuine hospitality and deep local knowledge define the experience. For those drawn to variety, solitude, and a true sense of place, this lodge delivers Patagonia in its most natural and unfiltered form.
The Fishing
This Property provides you immediate and exclusive access to 3 and spring creeks. If you like the technical aspects of fishing this crystal clear spring Creek that is available here and the Noriko Spring Creek is entertaining enough on its own. However, after a day on the spring Creek you might find yourself on one of the larger rivers with classic runs rifles and pools you can float fish them and wade as well again with no crowds at all. In this remote corner of Northern Patagonia the fishing on this estancia has to be experienced to be truly understood
If a guest desired to fish a different piece of water every, then one hour there are two more fabulous rivers available. One is a private access stream Large fish opportunities for both brown and rainbow trout. The second larger river is bigger and broader and most often floated in order to access all the best locations.
Floating and fishing on this river might not provide as many trophy opportunities, but it will make up for it with the numbers of quality catchable fish in the 15 to 20 inch range.
The Lodging
The lodge is an experience all its own—warm, refined, and deeply Patagonian. Rustic design blends effortlessly with modern comfort, from spacious en suite rooms and central heating to inviting common spaces that feel relaxed and unpretentious. After a day on the water, the bar naturally draws everyone together for a cocktail, a glass of Malbec, and stories from the river. The lodge has 4 spacious double rooms with 2 king beds, ideal for anglers and non-anglers.
Dining reflects the estancia’s connection to the land. As a working ranch, the kitchen highlights grass-fed beef, lamb, and goat raised on the property, paired with fresh garden vegetables and prepared by a highly regarded Argentine chef. An excellent wine program, featuring family vintages and select boutique labels from across Argentina, rounds out each meal.
