Recently transformed and extensively upgraded, this upscale beachfront retreat sits along the quiet northern shoreline of South Andros Island, offering a refined yet relaxed Bahamian escape. The setting is pure island seclusion—powder-white sand stretching in both directions with no neighboring structures in sight.
Guests can unwind beside a beautifully designed pool framed by comfortable lounge areas and a stylish cabana bar, or savor exceptional cuisine in the resort’s restaurant, where talented chefs deliver elevated island fare that consistently exceeds expectations.
For anglers, the opportunities are remarkably diverse. Cast from the beach at sunrise, explore the legendary South Bight with a seasoned flats guide, or run offshore into the famed Tongue of the Ocean for thrilling bluewater action. Few destinations in the Bahamas offer such a broad range of fishing experiences in one location.
Non-anglers will find plenty to enjoy as well, from beachcombing and paddle sports to pure relaxation in an intimate, uncrowded setting. With the ability to host larger groups, the property is well suited for couples, families (no children under 12), corporate retreats, and special gatherings seeking privacy, comfort, and authentic island beauty.
The Fishing
While Andros Island is famous for some of the best bone fishing in the world and some of the largest bonefish in the Bahamas, most locations may not provide the peace and tranquility that the non-angler would like to enjoy. This group has managed to do something that is rarely done well in this amazing bonefish destination.
They have created a high end luxury experience through elevated food, service, standards enlarging that meet exceed the expectations of most traveling anglers and their loved ones.
The South Bight is a sprawling, world-class bonefish destination right around the corner. A network of natural channels cuts across Andros Island, creating hundreds of square miles of shallow lagoons, mangrove-lined waterways, and pristine white sand flats—perfect habitat for thriving bonefish population.
Guides take full advantage of this dynamic fishery, positioning anglers where the tides and winds are most favorable each day. Because the east and west coasts experience opposite tidal cycles, you’re never stuck in low or high tide in the wrong place. Instead, guides can “chase the tides,” ensuring access to the most productive flats from morning to evening.
The South Bight offers something for every angler—from large schools of smaller bonefish to some of the largest and most coveted fish in the Bahamas.
Being located so close to the South Bight, also opens opportunities to make a run to the Western side of Andros Island where many other trophies exist including some of the largest bonefish anywhere. During the right seasons and tides you might be sure to rig a 10wt or 11wt rod for the Tarpon and permit opportunities that can present themselves on West Andros. Pack your 8wt 9wt 10wt 11wt, fluorocarbon leaders in 9ft, 12lb and 16lb and 20lb, bring along some heavier fluorocarbon for the big rods. The guides on Andros often recommend to bring wire tippet along as well, as they very much enjoy chasing some of the bigger Barracuda that cruise these flats.
If you and your party would like to take a day off of the flats, arrangements can be made for a half day or full day of local reef fishing.
